An Actual Ad for a candidate for Congress from Arizona, USA



This is not a joke - not an intentional one anyway.

This is an actual campaign ad for Pamela Gorman, candidate for Arizona's third Congressional District.

She was crushed in the Republican primary this past Tuesday.

    The only offensive part to me was the "Christian" bit (not that there's anything wrong with that, but I would rather like to think politics & religion don't mix). OK, the "Republican" bit, too - I refuse to vote for either of the two party machines that have a stranglehold over America.

    I have no problem with the anti-tax message. And I have no problem with the guns, which I suppose is the part of the ad New Yorkers would find most objectionable (recent gun-friendly Supreme Court decisions notwithstanding).
