Newsday reports that Fourth Avenue Presbyterian Church has had its stained glass windows fixed
Are you sure about this, fellas? The big stain glass window still looks boarded up, as of March 24.
The church's stained glass windows were blown out in the tornado that struck Bay Ridge on August 8, 2007.
As lizzie notes in a comment, some of the side panes of glass have been replaced. Which is wonderful. Hopefully the big stain glass window will be replaced soon.

Well, the news agencies had a few things wrong with this story. I know the company personally that's fixing the windows and yes, the largest window is still in repair. BUT, the 4 other smaller windows were installed this past Thursday and are all fixed.
OK, that makes sense.
I have never seen any mention of the damage to that unassuming white church on the corner of 67th and 4th, but a large amount of blue tarp still covers the roof as it has since the tornado. Are they able to afford to get it fixed?
They seem overlooked in the face of the damage to the other church's huge glass windows.

That would be the Bay Ridge Baptist Church. And that is a good question. I will find out.
