Just wanted to drop a line and see if you knew or had heard anything about the shooting on Shore Road [ Friday night ] . Took place on Shore, between 97th and 99th at around 10:30 last night. Haven't seen anything posted on your site, which i read frequently. You usually have this sort of thing posted. Please keep your fellow Bay Ridge residents informed if you hear anything.

happened in front of 9801 Shore Road. 4 or 5 shots fired. A man was injured. Helicopter searched park area. Apparently, shooter(s) not found. A truck was hit. Rumor is a man and woman left 101 and were followed. once shots fired, the woman disappeared. Very strange how little info there is about this.
Not to hijack but does anyone have more information about the body found in Owls Head Park early this morning? A dog walker friend told me she saw cops all over the park and the only info I could find was on Gothamist:
