A Tangled Web was an interesting place. I believe that it lasted for most of two decades.
It was the site of much verbal fisticuffs, also the place where some good conversation was had.
ATW went away, and I was sad when it did.
I would like to Invite all participants of the old ATW to add a comment here. Just a few words to say how you are getting along these days, more if you wish.
I hesitate to invite anybody by name, because I will forget people, But here goes – this invite applies to David Vance, Troll, mahons, Patty, Daphne, Frank, Noel, Petr, Peter, Andrew, Charles in Texas. Colm, Alison, Aileen, Allan from Aberdeen, the guy from rural Canada, whose name I forgot.
Also, if it is possible, I would like to hear what’s going on with Chris Gaskin, who used to run a couple of websites of his own, and to the folks from United, Ireland, Irish Eagle, And another Irish website called El Blogador.
I don’t have contact information of a number of these people, if anyone could reach out To the long lost, I would appreciate that.

It would be nice to hear from any of the old crowd.
I know I mainly destroyed the site the last two years of it's existence. It got to the point of me vs them. There were no more conversations as there were in the old days. Hugh and Seimi opened their own site which has now sadly folded.
I posted your request under a comment by Hugh on Slugger maybe some will see it there. I hope so, it would also be nice to hear from Mahons again as well.
To any and all I lay down my arms and offer an olive branch. My fighting days are over.
This is Phantoms site and I will always respect his house.
Hello Phantom and to you too Troll. I hope all is good with you, yours and everyone else.
It's good to see that Patty is well. I did think about her when LA went up like that. It shows the sense of moving to a red state. I'm good, not blogging anywhere, just lurking on Twitter now and then. Oh, and working as hard as ever with countless million illegals relying on my taxes.
I have developed a great jealousy of Americans of late. You're about to take off while we're stuck with the looniest leftists on the planet. Our one saving grace might be that Starmer et al are as incompetent as they are loony. If that doesn't come off we're properly done for.
Blessings to all and England for the 6 Nations.
Greetings fellow ATW alumni from Mahons. Hope all are well. Drifting along through the long days and short years we are allotted. Cheers!
Good to see some familiar names from times past. Pete Moore! Since the election of Trump I have wondered what you thought of the actions of the new administration. And Mahons, good to hear from you sir. I think Patrick is my oldest blogging buddy, 25 years now. I hope Miss M is doing OK!
Great to see some familiar names. Charles and Mahons, It may not seem like a lot but I apologize for any and all of my offenses. Pete!!!!!!!!!!! my god good to read you sire.
Not a problem Patrick. The dust-up we had was a business decision on your part that had to be made. It doesn't affect our friendship in the least!
I can't believe you omitted myself, (Dave Alton, AKA Gary), from the list Phantom. I mustn't have made much of an impression. :-)
I miss the old ATW and many of the old crowd. So many years posting. Were did the time go.
I'm sorry we missed each other last time you were in Liverpool. Let me know if you plan another trip mate.
Pete Moore. Good to see you.
Good to see Dave. I hope all is good with you. Charles, Trump has clearly spent the last for years thinking and planning. He had no team in 2016. He's now very well prepared, hence the speed with which he's acting. It's so quick and brazen, and it's taking his opponents so off guard that it's breathtaking.
He and Milei in Argentina are demonstrating that anything is possible. It just takes will.
Howdy Dave, I knew I would omit somebody! I remember you very well! I hope to be in that neck of the woods again someday and if I do, I will look you up. You and the rest are invited to keep an eye on this place for further conversation on …whatever!
Sorry, who is this please
I'm guessing this is Columba/Brian. Good to see you too.
Yes I agree. The US has got some interesting times ahead under its new President. :-O
Phantom, don't worry mate, I'm surprised you remembered as many people as you did. My memory is not what it was.
I've added this page to my favourite sites and I'll definitely be back.
good to see people showing up
"Sorry, who is this please"
Phantom, thta was me. I forgot to add my name.
Good man.
thank you Charles
Now that the fun of Tariffs has begun it will be interesting to hear all of your views. The EU should be next, especially in regard to Germany. I would also love to hear Phantoms report on the vibe of his city with the illegal round ups
Great to see at least some of the old crowd are still around, and thanks Phantom for the invitation.
Yes, this gang is still too young to die. Long may it continue to thrive in any house able to hold it.
And in a spirit of reconciliation, let me post a speech, his departing speech, by a President much reviled by my side in his time making a sincere statement of content much reviled by the other side at this time. (now, apart from the American pathos which both of them were/are slaves to, can anyone honestly imagine the present punk ever making a speech as dignified in form and style as this one?)
